Steppers Squad · iPhone

Need help getting set up, joining a squad, or something looks wrong? Start here, then write if you still need a hand.

Before you start

  • iCloud — Sign into iCloud on the device (Settings → [your name] → iCloud). The app syncs squads and steps through CloudKit; without iCloud it cannot work fully.
  • Health — Allow Steppers Squad to read Steps when asked. The app only reads step count; it does not write to Health.
  • iPhone — This version is iPhone only.

Create or join a squad

  1. Open the Squads tab.
  2. Create a squad, or choose Join and enter the invite code a friend shared.
  3. Invite links look likehttps://se.orangeman.dev/steppers-squad/join/CODE. With the app installed they open Join prefilled; otherwise this site shows the code so you can type it after installing.

Common issues

  • Steps look wrong or zero — Check Health permissions for Steppers Squad, and that the phone (or Watch) is recording steps.
  • Can’t create or join — Confirm iCloud is signed in and has network access. Try again after a moment; CloudKit can lag briefly.
  • Squad disappeared — If the owner left, the squad is deleted for everyone. That is expected.
